Kamal Sami

The Geomatics and Geospatial Information Smart Solutions (GGI-Smart solution) provides consultation, project management, strategic planning, research, and advanced training in geomatics disciplines and geospatial information. GGI-smart solution will be led by Kamal Sami, who is an academic and professional consultant experienced in geomatics engineering and geospatial information systems for more than 30 years. Dr. Kamal Sami has a Bachelor's degree in Surveying Engineering from the University of Khartoum and a PhD in satellite geodesy from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK. Kamal worked as a lecturer in the Department of Surveying Engineering for more than 20 years, and as a consultant, advisor, and team leader in Sudan and the UAE. Kamal, representing the Sudan in the United Nations Global Geospatial Information Management team of experts, as well as the regional and national teams. Kamal has an interest in the implementation of geospatial information for the internationally well-known Sustainable Development Goals. I have extensive knowledge in computer programming, strategic planning, and integrated navigation systems. Recently, I moved to Canada, and now focusing on AI and machine learning implementation on geomatics and geospatial information and monitoring, already started with AI for geoid modelling.
