I am an R&D Engineer and technical consultant with over 18 years' experience in the energy industry and academia. My expertise includes research and development in unconventional oil & gas and geothermal drilling simulators, reservoir charaterization, drilling data analysis, grant and technical writing, and technical presentations.

Throughout my career, I have worked with universities and the energy sector to conduct innovative research and develop real-time and post-drilling decision-making software that helps increase NPV in complex drilling operations. My strong technical knowledge and analytical skills enable me to perform complex engineering analyses for internal and external stakeholders.

I spent nearly 10 years as an R&D Engineer in the energy sector, collaborating with companies such as Shell Global and National Oilwell Varco to develop oil and gas drilling optimization solutions. Recently, I've focused on geothermal energy solutions, including rock-strength prediction for hard-rock well drilling.

Before that, I held research positions at the University of Calgary and Western University. My work included unconventional oil & gas research projects, real-time decision-making software development, reservoir characterization, geomechanical property studies, data analysis, mentoring, and developing applications and technical papers.

In addition, I taught undergraduate and graduate courses at the Schulich School of Engineering and received a Teaching Performance Award from the University of Calgary.
