Patrick Franc

Patrick Franc earned his degree in Illustration & Design from Montreal's Dawson College art program. He worked as a graphic designer for many years, first as an employee and then later as a self-employed entrepreneur, serving small, medium, and large businesses such as CN Rail, Bombardier, and Johnson & Johnson. Throughout his career, he’s also managed art departments, art-directed photo shoots, and managed small teams to help create and deliver finished products.

Earlier in his career, he worked as a packaging designer and product designer in the toy industry. During his tenure at the toy company, he graduated from art room designer to interim art director in the packaging department and was eventually promoted to Chief Product Designer. In this role, he designed toys for kids of all ages, some of which won awards from Parenting Magazine. He also had the opportunity to collaborate with companies such as FAO Schwarz©, Disney©, and Warner Brothers©, helping bring to market a collection of private label toys.

Just before the millennium, he set his sights on a freelance career, and founded his own graphic design studio, aptly named “Francly Graphic”. He has created hundreds and hundreds of technical illustrations for Bombardier and CN Rail, created album artwork, produced thousands of ads for regional telephone directories, and created original logos, slogans, and brand identities for startups.

In 2016, still active with his own studio, Francly Graphic, he joined the team at YPR Canada, a Social Media Amplification and Marketing company that helps organizations increase revenues, create brand equity through strategic communications, and generate brand awareness via social networks and traditional news media.
