I'm Louis-Philip Marcoux, a Trois-Rivières-based full-stack developer focused on practical automation for Canadian businesses.

I build conversational agents and workflow automations (n8n, LLMs, Messenger) that run real client operations such as lead qualification, CRM syncing, booking. Nine property-management agencies are running them in production today. I've also built an outbound voice agent (ElevenLabs + Twilio) that calls, qualifies, and books, closing 2% of the calls it makes.

On the web side I build custom platforms and business software: 15+ production platforms shipped in six months on a Next.js + Cloudflare stack, including the live storefront distributionmk.com, where a custom CMS and order pipeline cut the client's order-handling time by roughly 65%. I also build the unglamorous internal tools like invoicing, project and team management, QuickBooks-integrated accounting. For a recruitment client, semantic matching (pgvector embeddings) took candidate shortlisting from about six hours to under twenty minutes per role.

Alongside client work, I build systems from first principles, a container runtime, a distributed key-value store with Raft consensus (230+ tests, published to crates.io), an observability platform. Understanding the layer most developers treat as a black box makes me better at the layer clients actually see: when something breaks in production, I'm not guessing.
