Hitham Jleed
Machine learning and signal-processing engineer | Ottawa
À propos
I am a Ph.D., P.Eng. based in the Ottawa area, and a part-time professor in electrical engineering and computer science at the University of Ottawa. I take contract work in applied machine learning and digital signal processing, mostly where the data is noisy, real-time, or not a clean textbook dataset.
Recent work includes a Route Stress Index model for electric-vehicle fleets (telemetry, topography, and a supervised pipeline through to a deployable prototype), wearable emotion recognition from ECG, EDA, and motion signals, and open-set audio recognition from my doctoral research. Earlier contracts covered real-time audio detection for smart-home cameras and low-latency speech coding for hearing aids.
I am a good fit if you need a prototype, a model that has to reject unknowns, or signal-processing work in Python, MATLAB, or C/C++. I am not a general web-shop or a full-time agency. Projects are taken alongside teaching, usually scoped and remote or Ottawa-based.
