I have been developing software since 2004, working mostly within the web development space, but with some experience working with desktop apps. I have worked on several large projects dealing with both front and back end development, including the creation of a ticketing and event promotion form, banking API integration, creating complex mouse-based custom interfaces, a 3D rotation and light simulation system, a script for generating SSL certificates, and a static website generation system. In other words, I work on basically anything that I find interesting, but focus mostly on web-related work.

My strongest languages are PHP and JavaScript, but I have also worked with Go, C, C#, Java, Groovy, Python, R, Bash, Makefiles, HTML, CSS, SQL, Typescript and would be familiar with frameworks in the PHP and JavaScript space, including Laravel, CakePHP, Symfony, Smarty Templates, Express, React, Vue. I consider my ability to learn new things quickly to be an asset.

My specialty is in making intricate pieces of software where multiple pieces need to be working in order to get the entire system working. My code is very reliable, and understandable. I put considerable thought into making things simple and have tried out enough technologies to be able to evaluate their worth.
